Premature ejaculation is having an orgasm between 1 to 3 minutes after sexual penetration. It is a condition where a man struggles to control or delay his orgasm. According to research, most men last between 5-10 minutes, and the average recommended time of ejaculation after penetration is 5 ½ minutes. Premature ejaculation is not necessarily a medical disorder but a problem that needs to be tackled.

Before you freak out and resort to harmful solutions, try these 6 natural tips to help you last longer in bed.

  1. MASTURBATION

Masturbation a few minutes before sex can increase the length of time in bed. The idea behind this is simple, when you orgasm, it’ll take some time before you can orgasm again.

  1. WEAR AN EXTRA-STRENGTH B CONDOM

The thicker condom forms a barrier around the penis to reduce sensitivity and sensation, which can prolong sex.

  1. SPEND MORE TIME ON FOREPLAY

A study conducted on 1,055 females in the United States revealed that 18.4% of women climax with just penile-vaginal intercourse, but a  percentage of 36.6% reported that clitoral stimulation was required for orgasm. There are a thousand ways to kill a cat, and sex is not all about stroking or penetration. You can practice restraint by focusing on foreplay. Also, you can sexually satisfy your partner with foreplay, and you wouldn’t need to spend much time on penetration. Anytime you feel the urge to cum, you can return to foreplay till you are calm then continue with penetration, this is called the stop-and-start technique

  1. CHANGE POSITIONS

Changing positions can help delay ejaculation by pausing the sensation and by distracting you for a short time.  The Change of sex positions midway will feel like you just started anew. There are also unique sex positions that facilitate long and more enjoyable times in bed. Sex positions that you should try are spooning, cowgirl, and sitting. These positions provide a limited range of motion for the man, making it more difficult to finish, thereby increasing the time in bed.

  1. DON’T THRUST TOO DEEP OR FASTER

The deeper or faster you thrust, the greater the sensation. So, try moving at a slower pace,  and not so deep next time.

  1. PAUSE AND SQUEEZE TECHNIQUE

The pause and squeeze technique is done by pulling out and squeezing the tip of the penis when you feel like you are about to orgasm. This will cause an interrupted ejaculation and give you more time to thrust in and out.
